One month left of Super Mario Bros. 35, and for this week's Special Battle Event, which is from February 22nd till March 1st, so it will not be for a weekend, but for a whole week, so it was like the World Count Challenge from back last year where over 3 million players total had to defeat Bowser, but for this one, it is to defeat as many Goombas as you can, and they are common enemies in a lot of courses, but for the Special Battle event, the following courses were chosen, those being 1-1, 2-1, 3-1, 3-2, 4-2, 5-1, 5-2, 6-2, and 8-1.
Goombas are very easy enemies to defeat, and they can be found in a bunch of levels, and you can use Koopa Shells in 3-2 and 5-1 to defeat as many Goombas as possible, or a Buzzy Beetle Shell at the beginning of 8-1, and 4-2 is the only course that has a Warp Zone you can use.
I don't know if they revealed the total amount of Goombas that have to be defeated to get a good reward, like with the World Count Challenge for Bowser, but at least Goombas are easier to defeat than having to deal with Bowser on some harder courses.
