It is the ultimate battle between the Adrestian Empire and the Church of Seiros, or Byleth and every student she has recruited so far. Their objective is to protect Rhea and the Monastery from the Imperial Troops, and not only do we have to deal with Edelgard, but she has brought some Imperial Generals with her, and we also have to deal with Hubert and the Death Knight as well.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

Time for some really intense music, it is called "Roar of Dominion", and this is the final chapter of Part 1, and it is a fight between the Imperial Army and the Church of Seiros, and Byleth and the Golden Deer units are defending the Church from the Imperial Army.
There are some Ballistae, Onagers, and Fire Orbs on this map, which you can use to attack from a long range, and some of which are used by some of the enemy troops, and some of your allies can use them as well, the Ballistae can be really useful against the Pegasus Knights on this map, and there are a lot of enemy Archers on this map as well. There are two Winged Demonic Beasts on this map, so having your Archers can help in taking them out.
Rhea is at the start of this map, and you must not let her be defeated in battle, and she is well equipped for battle, she has the Sword of Seiros for her weapon, which you cannot obtain in this game, it is a sacred weapon tied to the Crest of Seiros, and it heals 50% of damage dealt, she does have Seiros Shield as well, and she has some powerful spells, like Bolganone and Agnea's Arrow. If you didn't recruit Hanneman or Manuela, they appears as NPCs, Hanneman being the Mage using the Fire Orb, and Manuela being the Priest, and she has Physic, which Manuela cannot normally get.
The first objective is to capture the strongholds, one is guarded by Hubert, and the other is guarded by the Death Knight, and they are tough opponents. Hubert being a Dark Mage with some powerful dark magic spells, and he has Vestra Sorcery Engineers for Battalion, which have Resonant Lightning, and he has a good Magic stat, but his Defense is not that great, so having any physical units can help take him down. He does have unique dialogue if Byleth or any of the Black Eagles students fight him, and on Maddening, Hubert has a Prayer Ring which you can steal off him.
The Death Knight is back once again, and this time you should be able to stand up to him, and defeating him does give you a Dark Seal. He does have a high crit chance with the Scythe of Sariel, and he has Counterattack, if you have any Lance units with Knightkneeler or a Horseslayer, those should be able to handle the Death Knight, or on the Golden Deer route, Lysithea with Dark Spikes Τ is your best shot at beating him. A nearby Cavalier will drop a Crescent Sickle when defeated.
When both strongholds are captured, ally reinforcements appear, defeating Hubert will bring reinforcements led by a Sniper, that would be Shamir if you didn't recruit her, and defeating the Death Knight brings in reinforcements led by a Swordmaster, which would be Catherine if you didn't recruit her.
Next are the Imperial Generals, the first one is Randolph, he has unique dialogue if you let Caspar fight him, and he starts moving when Hubert and the Death Knight are defeated. He is a Warrior with a Silver Axe, and his Axe Crit +10 gives him an easy critical hit rate with his Silver Axe, and he has a lot of HP and Strength, so having magic users target his lower Res can help, and his Empire Raiders Battalion is not very accurate if Absorption is the Gambit.
One thing I recently found out is Ladislava's starting position, on Normal or Hard, she starts adjacent to Edelgard, but on Maddening, she starts near your starting position. Ladislava is a Wyvern Rider with a Silver Axe, and she has Aegis and Avoid +10, and she has Empire Elite Wyvern Co. for her Battalion, which can use Assembly. She has really good Defense, but her Res is low, so bows and magic attacks are good against her.
The last opponent is Edelgard, who uses her unique Flame Emperor class, she will like start with her Battalion, and with her high Charm stat and Raging Flames Gambit, which has very wide range, it will very likely hit. She has Counterattack, Seal Strength, and Seal Magic, so she is a really tough opponent, and she has unique dialogue if Byleth, Claude, or any Black Eagles student fight her. As she has really high Defense, it is the best time to use your powerful weapons, like Heroes' Relics, against her, and Counterattack does not counter from a Ballista or Fire Orb.
After the battle is done, we get a cutscene where we see a white dragon known as The Immaculate One, this was the creature that we saw in a book back in Chapter 8, and after that cutscene, it is Part 1 done, and we'll see what happens next time.
