We have made it to Chapter 2, and our mission this month is to fight off some thieves, but that will not happen until the end of the month. A new thing to this month is the ability to recruit students from different houses, but they need certain requirements, and Byleth gains access to some more areas of the Monastery.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

Byleth receives his next task from Seteth, and it is to drive off some bandits at the Red Canyon, and after a bit of dialogue, Byleth can explore the Monastery. If you talk to Jeralt, he has a quest where you can study about Battalions, you need to enter the Captain's Quarters and find the Tactics Primer, and you have completed the Quests. Battalions can be equipped to units to perform a Gambit, and there are different kinds, and some of which require a higher rank in Authority, and the strength is based on the Charm stat.
Speaking of ranks, you can recruit students from other houses onto your side, but you will need to meet the stat requirements and the subject requirement, or you could try to get at least a B Support between Byleth and that student, and they will have a 20% chance that they will ask to join your class, but only two units cannot reach B Support until very later in the game, those two being Ferdinand and Caspar. There are some restrictions, you cannot recruit another house leader or their retainer, so in this case, I cannot recruit Edelgard or Claude, and Hubert cannot be recruited outside of Black Eagles, and if you are playing a route other than Blue Lions, neither Dimitri or Dedue cannot be recruited. There are some unique cases with some students, Hilda cannot be recruited in Black Eagles, and if you are playing as female Byleth, you can recruit Sylvain without any requirement, so you get a free recruit if you didn't pick Blue Lions.
There are some other quests that unlock new things for the Monastery, first up is Creative Cuisines, you have to find three cookbooks, all of them are in the library, and once you get all of them, return to the Head Chef, and you can cook with one of your students, and they can give stat boosts for the rest of the month, but I prefer sharing a meal for increasing support.
Next is the Choir Coordinator at the Cathedral, which is a new area we have yet to explore, and you have to cross the bridge, where Ferdinand tells us about the six noble families of the Adrestian Empire. For the quest, you have to find a Choir Sign Up Sheet, which will be where Dorothea is, and if you talk to Dorothea, she will tell you about a blue cloth she is looking for, and it turns out Caspar has it, I can only wonder how weird things will be considering what that blue cloth really is. Competing the quest unlocks Choir Practice, where you can pick two units, and that will boost their Faith, which is white magic that allows you to use spells like Heal or Nosferatu, and there are special events on the calendar that automatically selects two characters at random for Choir Practice.
Seteth has a quest, and because of how huge of a meme it is, it's even the main picture on this game's Meme page on TvTropes. For that quest, you have to talk to a student at the Officers Academy, who will give you a Dissidents Intel, return to Seteth to complete the quest. The Cathedral also has Four Saints statues, which give a bit of lore about the Four Saints and their relation to Seiros.
There are some new areas, the Marketplace is one of them, and this is where you can buy weapons and items, it's even the starting point on the Garreg Mach Monastery stage in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
After using your free time, it is time to be a teacher and do lectures, you can instruct students, so you can choose what subject they want to focus on, if you want them to use swords, or if you want to go with a flying unit, you can change their skill goals so they work on two different subjects. and when instructing, it is best go with units with full motivation, which you can fill up if you share a meal with them. Some units have Hidden Talents, for example, Dimitri has a hidden talent for Riding, and if you choose it four times, you will earn a star, and if you get all three stars, that unit will unlock the Hidden Talent. Group tasks are where you can pick two students to do work, Stable Duty raises Riding skills, Weeding raises Heavy Armor skills, and Sky Watch raises Flying skills. Suggested goals is where a student will ask if they want to change their goals, and when starting a lecture, a student will ask a question, and you can pick one of the three answers, I use sites like RPG Site to find the correct answers for the lectures. At the end of the week, depending on their skill goals, they will earn points for that skill, and if they rank up, they will learn a new skill.
