For this week's Surprise Trade, I will be trading Cubchoo, an Ice-type Pokémon introduced in Gen 5, and these ones have Slush Rush, a new Ability it got in Gen 7 where its speed is doubled in Hail. Its Hidden Ability is Rattled, which turns into Swift Swim when it evolves into Beartic, but Slush Rush has about the same effect, but for Hail instead of rain.
As usual, I try go for at least 4-5 IVs (Individual Values), and some Egg Moves, Cubchoo can only get three Egg Moves, Yawn, Night Slash, and Focus Punch, and I did go for Adamant for the Nature, as Cubchoo is a Physical attacker.
Then I will list which parents from the Field Egg Group that can learn those moves.
Focus Punch: Scraggy, Scrafty
Night Slash: Dugtrio, A-Dugtrio, A-Meowth, A-Persian, G-Linoone, Stunky, Skuntank, Weavile, Purrloin, Liepard, Zoroark, Pangoro, Nickit, Thievul, Obstagoon
Yawn: Wooper, Quagsire, Dunsparce, Hippopotas, Hippowdon, Munna, Musharna

A good selection of Egg Moves, Night Slash is the one that stands out the most, while Yawn and Focus Punch can be good for passing down onto other Pokémon in the Field Egg Group.
Then onto Cubchoo and its evolved form Beartic's level up moves, it can get Icy Wind, Play Nice, Brine, Frost Breath, Slash, Charm, Thrash, Blizzard, and Sheer Cold for most of its moves. When Cubchoo evolves into Beartic, it will learn Icicle Crash upon evolution, Beartic can learn Aqua Jet and Superpower for level up moves, while it has a high Attack stat, the rest of its stats are kind of average.
For TM and TR moves, starting with TMs, it can learn Ice Punch, Mega Punch, Mega Kick, Dig, Rock Slide, Scary Face, Rain Dance, Brick Break, Icicle Spear, Rock Tomb, Assurance, Shadow Claw, Avalanche, Bulldoze, Ice Fang, and a few other moves, and for TRs, it can learn Swords Dance, Low Kick, Bulk Up, Encore, Taunt, Stone Edge, Heavy Slam, Throat Chop, Play Rough, and Liquidation.
For the competitive scene, Beartic is unfortunately not viable, while Slush Rush is a nice Ability that fixes up Beartic's low Speed stat, Alolan Sandslash outclasses it, and while it has a high Attack stat, Weavile, Mamoswine, and Galarian Darmanitan are way better options, it's really unfortunate that a Pokémon with that good of an Attack stat is not viable in competitive battling. Even in Double Battles, Beartic isn't viable, because Alolan Sandslash outclasses it there, too, and while Swift Swim is nice for an Ice-type, there is no reason to take Beartic over some better Pokémon, like Kingdra or Ludicolo. It really hurts that I have to turn down an otherwise cool Pokémon, then again I'm not a huge fan of Beartic, but I feel really bad for people that like the Cubchoo line, or have Beartic as their favourite Pokémon.
Unless you really want to try it out, Beartic does get moves like Icicle Crash, Superpower, and Liquidation for good Physical moves, and Aqua Jet for priority, but aside from that, there's not much to it. As far as Ice-types go, Lapras is the best Ice-type in both Singles and Doubles in online battles, and for Physical attacking Ice-types, Galarian Darmanitan is the best out of all of them, and even Pokémon like Avalugg, Eiscue and Frosmoth have viability than Beartic in terms of Ice-type Pokémon, and I have even checked Smogon, and both Arctozolt and Arctovish are viable in the lower tiers, and Beartic isn't viable even in the lowest tier.
