After Byleth comes across a Crest scholar accusing Marianne about the Wandering Beast that appears every night, he then learns about Marianne's Crest, which is said to be cursed. They enter a forest infested with Demonic Beasts, and they must take down a very scary-looking beast in the forest.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

I was originally going to do "The Face Beneath", which is Mercedes and Caspar's paralogue, but I ended up doing this one, because spoiler alert, you fight the Death Knight in that paralogue, and Caspar could not take him out in one attack, so I decided to hold off on that paralogue and do Forgotten Hero, this is Marianne's paralogue. This paralogue is available on all routes, and by the way, Crimson Flower only has five paralogues, this is one of them, and two of which are exclusive to that route, and we did have a paralogue that was exclusive to Azure Moon in the previous chapter.
This is a fog of war map which is infested with Demonic Beasts which are attacking people in the Edmund territory, and we learn about Marianne's Crest, which has been undiscovered until just now, it is known as the Crest of the Beast, otherwise known as Maurice's Crest, this Crest raises Might when using a weapon, and if it means weapons as in swords, then the best she can make use of is the Levin Sword. Like Nemesis and the Crest of Flames, which Byleth has, Maurice was the original wielder of the Crest of the Beast, and was thought to have been lost in history.
As for this paralogue, Marianne is away from all your other units, and you have to try and get her out to safety, that is if you didn't level her up before this paralogue. There are a lot of Wild Demonic Beasts and Giant Wolves, some can inflict poison, and I wouldn't try to take out all of them because of the fog of war. Make sure you bring some Torches with you, and the boss of this paralogue is the Wandering Beast, he has the Crest Stone (Beast), which is the monster's main method of attacking, and he has Magic Bind, which inflicts silence to magic users, and Anti-Magic Armor protects him from magic attacks, so they will not do anything, even if you let Marianne fight the Wandering Beast, and she does have unique dialogue if you let her fight the Wandering Beast. He has Heavy Strike, which has wide range and rattles any units caught in the attack. The Wandering Beast has a lot of strength, so I would recommend saving your Gambits for him, and try to break all of his shields, and if you have any units with weapons effective against Monster units, like the Blessed Lance or any Combat Arts that deal bonus damage against Monster units, they are very useful for this one.
There are three Phantom Soldiers on this map, there would be one on Normal difficulty, that would be a Bishop with Physic, so he can heal any monsters should they take damage. On Hard difficulty, there will also be a Sniper and a Dark Bishop, both have an Antitoxin each and will drop them when defeated, while the Bishop has a Hexlock Shield, one Wild Demonic Beast has a Giant Shell, which increases Defense by 2.
After competing this paralogue, you get a new Battalion called Edmund Troops, which gives a boost to Hit, Charm, Strength, and Magic, and a small boost to Protection and Resilience, the Gambit is Flash-Fire Arrows, which can attack in a line and deals bonus damage to flying units. You will also get a Hero's Relic known as Blutgang, which is tied to the Crest of the Beast, and is known as the Magic Blade, and Marianne has that Crest. As expected from the Magic Blade itself, it deals magic damage, and if Marianne wields that Hero's Relic, she can use a Combat Art called Beast Fang, which is effective against cavalry and dragon units, and it has an increased critical rate. The downside to Blutgang is that it doesn't get extra range unlike the Levin Sword, so if you want to use Marianne for sword classes, like Swordmaster, Falcon Knight, or Mortal Savant, she can make good use of the Levin Sword and Blutgang, and she can get both Frozen Lance and Soulblade for Combat Arts.
