This is just making some preparations for our upcoming battle against the Imperial Army if ever they make another move, so our time is used for building up supports with different activities, like Choir Practice at the Cathedral, and sharing meals at the Dining Hall, we will need all we can for that.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

As this video is about checking out some supports and doing some activities at the Monastery, and some Auxiliary Battles, this is mostly for preparations whenever the Imperial Army attacks, because at the end of the month, we get a scene with Randolph, who was part of the Imperial Army 5 years ago when they attacked the Monastery.
Speaking of supports, aside from Byleth's supports, I have mostly been showing supports with Blue Lions students only, and units that I plan to use for this adventure, I will be saving A Supports for the end, because when both units get A Support, this will decide on who they will be paired up with at the end of the game, otherwise it is more about who that unit is closest to, while Byleth can get S Support with certain units depending on gender, but you can only access the S Support conversations when you have beaten the final chapter. I have decided on which units will be paired up when we get to the end.
Another topic to go over is a game that was only released in Japan, that game is Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War, this game released in 1996 and was the fourth Fire Emblem game, and the story for Three Houses is similar to Genealogy of the Holy War, and interesting bit of trivia, Genealogy of the Holy War was the first game to introduce the Weapon Triangle, which would become important in later Fire Emblem games, but is removed from this game.
Like with Three Houses, Genealogy of the Holy War did have a timeskip, except their timeskip focused on the second generation of units, while Three Houses keep the cast of characters for the second half of the story.
In Three Houses, most of the voice actors for this game have voiced characters from Genealogy of the Holy War in Fire Emblem Heroes, and second generation units were considered at first for this game, as they were used in previous games like Awakening and Fates. As there are some support conversations that are locked till after the timeskip, most notably the A Supports, it wouldn't make sense to have them limited to before then and having different units in the second half.
Even if Gilbert is technically a unit that is exclusive to part 2, he was in the Monastery during the first half of the story, but he can only be recruited on Azure Moon in part 2. It is good seeing that other games are used for inspiration for one game, and it's not just Fire Emblem that does it, other game series have done this sort of thing as well.
I don't think I have brought up the map theme for part 2 yet, the song is called "Chasing Daybreak", and I find it sets the tone for the War Phase, because the Adrestian Empire has declared war across Fódlan, and it has been going on for five years. I don't mind Chasing Daybreak as a song, because I liked Fódlan Winds and Tearing Through Heaven, and I really like Blue Skies and a Battle, and whenever I do an Auxiliary Battle that takes place on Gronder Field, I like to set Blue Skies and a Battle for the map theme, because this was where that song played at.
Another thing you can do during the timeskip is Advanced Drills, it is Faculty Training, but all units can do it, even students you have recruited, but their skills need to be a higher level than Byleth's, so that can be a good way to work on Byleth's skill levels in weapons, or even Riding and Flying, you get a lot of options on who you want to do Advanced Drills with.
