How's it going everyone, in this RPG Maker MV First Impressions video we take a look at a game by Wyatt Downie called "The Simple Quest." This game is a well put together adventure with a simple plot and an interesting core gameplay loop. Resting at an inn to recover the party requires a meal. You can get meals from locations in town when you trade the right items. The items you need to make meals are found by defeating creatures in battle. The game has a well balanced combat system, with many custom craftable items. It's a shame that meals cannot be used in battle, but I see why the dev decided to make it work like that. (Might be too easy if they were used in combat.) There is still a quite a bit of default in this project as I'm sure many people will notice, but for what it does, it does well. I would recommend this game if your interested in short rpgs. Thanks for watching! :)
