- Copy the file directly from the folder. The error can be avoided if you copy the file from its original location instead of using the search feature. To do this, follow these steps:
- Open File Explorer and click on This PC in the left pane.
- Click on your device or any other device available under the Devices and drives section.
- Navigate to the folder where the file you want to copy is located.
- Select the file and press Ctrl + C to copy it.
