In this video I show you how to fix your chat settings prevent you from sending messages in Roblox. You can fix the issue by changing your communication settings on your account. Fortunately, you can change your communication settings through the Roblox game app, or using the website.

You can find the communication options by going to the settings and selecting privacy. Here you will see the communication heading. The easiest way to fix the your chat settings prevent you from sending messages in Roblox is to set the top communication option to Default. Doing this will adjust all of your communication settings, allowing you to chat in game.

Although setting the communication settings to default will fix the issue, the main setting you want to change is the “who can text chat with me?” option. You will need to set this to Everyone in order to fix the your chat settings prevent you from sending messages in Roblox.

Additionally, you will want to turn off the account restrictions setting. If account restrictions are enabled then you may not be able to send measages in Roblox.
