How to Surrender on Valorant Console - PS5 & Xbox Series X/S
1In this video I show you how to surrender on Valorant console. You can surrender by opening the menu and selecting the surrender option. In order to surrender you will need to have played out at least 4 rounds of Valorant. This means it must be at least round 5 before you can choose to surrender.
Once you select surrender you will need to complete the round. Additionally, a surrender vote will begin at the start of the next round. The surrender vote will occur regardless of if you win or lose the round. The vote allows all members on your team to vote if they want to surrender or not.
On the surrender vote overlay are person icons. These icons indicate the vote results. The yes votes will show as green, while no votes appear as red. Additionally, if a vote hasn’t been cast then the icon will remain gray.
By choosing to surrender you are essentially opting to forfeit the game. Meaning that a successful vote will end the game with your team losing. However, if the vote is unsuccessful then the game will continue. Additionally, you won’t be able to forfeit again during the half. Instead, you will need to wait until the next half to be able to surrender again.
