When we fly with side wind we'll be blown off the desired course. We need to change our heading, nose into the wind, to correct for the wind. The angle with which we need to change is the Wind Correction Angle. It can be measured on a drawing with a protractor, it can be calculated with the exact formula or it can be roughly estimated using a simple rule of thumb.
