The steps to intercept a radial flying outbound:
1: Tune the radio and verify the Morse code.
2: Turn the OBS to the RECIPROCAL(+/- 180) of the radial we want to intercept.
3: If the needle is left, subtract 45 degrees. If the needle is right, add 45 degrees. The number can be smaller if we are less than 10 degrees off.
4: The outcome of step 3 is the heading to turn to.
5: Wait until the CDI needle goes vertical, this is when we change heading to our desired bearing.
