A VOR, Very High Frequency Omni-Directional Range, is a radio beacon used for air navigation. The CDI, Course Deviation Indicator, is the instrument with which we can find what radial we are on and that shows how far off the radial, that is selected with the OBS, the Omni Bearing Selector, we are. The to / from indicator shows us if we are on a bearing inbound or outbound from the beacon.
