In the first winter event video I already said something about the Winter Spire. You receive it as a level 1 building for completing the 10th quest and then you can improve it by many upgrades. 8 winter spore upgrades you will receive as a grand prize and 3 more for the milestones of the questline. As you will receive the last upgrade for completing the very last quest on January 2nd, players not using diamonds will have the winter Spire on level 12 then.
In case someone might me playing with the idea to get a second Winter Spire, you should know that this will require 21,000 diamonds. If this building is worth such an investment, everybody has to decide on his or her own.
We saw 16 different daily specials. I posted a list in the first, pinned comment below the video to give you an idea about the order in the beta test. Usually InnoGames changes the order from day 2. It makes sense to make a decision about the desired daily special at the very beginning and to wait with opening the presents until the desired prize becomes available.
Those who want to buy Shrines of Knowledge by using diamonds the winter event is one of the best opportunities. We all know from many previous videos that the top ranking players have their lead from having many of these Shrines of Knowledge in the city. And you will not only see the Shrine of Knowledge as a daily special, it will also be one of the grand prizes for enlighting all candles of the Christmas tree.
Since long the wishing well is very popular among players, mainly because there is a small chance to get twice or thrice per year these 50 diamonds. Players also like the goods it provides. Since the wishing well shrink kit it's efficiency is even better. Like the Shrine of Knowledge also the wishing well and it's shrink kit is not only a daily special but one of the grand prizes,
Watchfires are an important part of most player's city defense. You can use them very well to fill the empty space between buildings as they do not require a street connection. The watchfire now has the additional tag 'level 1', but the properties are still the same. It can be upgraded to level 2 using a watchfire upgrade kit, increasing the city defense bonus by 2% to 6% by keeping that tiny 1x1 floor space.
The rogue hideout is excellent for new players who do not already have one. Due to the rogue's huge importance in the guild expedition every fighting player should have at least one in the city. The shrink kit reduces the required space by one third.
The Hall of Fame is a building that supports the guild. It is best for players in high ages being in newly founded guilds. In that situation the effect of that special building is best, as it accelerates the development of such a new guild very much. E g a player in the Virtual Era, already having achieved everything in this game deciding to establish a new guild to support new players can build one or more halls of fame to get the guild levels up very fast.
There is also an upgrade kit for the victory tower which then delivers more medals.
Looking on the offered shrink kits and upgrade kits you can see clearly that InnoGames mainly supports those players who have problems with building space in their city. These are already happy about small improvements.
Between these you will see occasionally the plus-1-kit, the renovation kit and the mass self aid kit as daily specials.
The Charming Cottage is a residential building with a 4x3 floor size which provides population and coins plus 6 of a random good of the building's age.
The Sleigh Builder is a production building that players mainly measure based on it's 1 day production option: 15 goods of the current age of the building. As this building only requires 2x3 tiles especially players in higher ages will be interested in it.
Santa's Workshop is already well known from previous years. It provides some population, some happiness and several production options, e g, 10 goods of the building's age. Due to it's huge 5x4 size it is not very popular among players.
Finally there is the winter decoration selection kit. Using it you can decide between one of these decorations:

Gate Statue West
Gate Statue East
Newly founded cities will benefit a lot from these many small rewards. Forge points, medals, military units, coins and supplies will help a lot to make progress. For advanced players these small rewards are not that relevant. Each player has his or her own focus, but we will all benefit from that great event.
