Well, for the first time I'm actually on time to something that happened in the video game world! Guess it was inevitable that it would be something most people have never heard of and may not be able to pronounce...

But anyway, I couldn't be happier that Baten Kaitos and its prequel are finally getting a port to modern hardware. This is a wonderful game that well deserves a second look, and with this intro video I hope to make a case for it without spoiling any of the great secrets that the game has in store.

...Except maybe saying "I couldn't be happier" is overselling it a tad. The truth is, I could be happier about this release, thanks to one decision that, in my opinion, is about the worst thing I've seen someone do to a classic game in a decade or so.
