This game I found available for purchase on Amazon. It's currently unavailable (as I post this) so it might not even be buyable any more. That's not a bad thing...
This is another mobile phone port, built using Unity. The BLab team seem to create engines/content that can be purchased from them and re-purposed. This seems to be one of many games they produced a while ago.
The game tries to connect to an online server which is no longer available, so it's best to disconnect the internet if you want to play (single player) without waiting for the connection to fail errors to appear (slowly!).
This game is pretty glitchy, as you can see... sometimes at high speed your car becomes uncontrollable and weaves side-to-side. None of the tracks listed are in the game, they're just what I was aiming for.
And all of this without even mentioning the "Garage" area, where you run around as a racing driving with a bald patch, to find and choose a car to race! Or that you can choose between 4-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive or front-wheel drive!
1. Race Start (Monza): 0:00 Before starting the race I had to disable the techno dance music, using the on-the-steering-wheel icons! As soon as you click the Start Race button, it begins, with no lights or anything. You can actually drive through the other cars on the grid, then start the race, to save time overtaking! The rival cars are awfully smoky!
2. Spray Effects (Silverstone): 0:35 It's been a long time since I saw a game with only in-car and behind-the-car views. Thus, for this external angle I had to just sit and wait on the track! There's no rain; all tracks are shown at this near-dark sky effect.
3. Tunnel & View (Monaco): 0:48 Not really Monaco; all the tracks feel like they've been knocked up with a simple track builder.
4. Wet Track (Spa-Francorchamps): 0:59 There's no hills either. Or rain!
5. Pitstop (Interlagos): 1:20 Pitstops serve no purpose, as your car doesn't really get damaged.
6. Huge Crash (Montreal): 1:34 Again the crazy smoke hits you in the face! Car-on-car collisions are suspicious...!
