Square Enix held a "Square Enix Presents" event this week, featuring some new announcements and updates to some of the known titles on the horizon.

Our highlights include:

Forspoken
▸ Formerly revealed as Project Athia back in June 2020, the PS5/PC title is being developed by Luminous Productions, an internal studio built on the backbone of the Final Fantasy XV team (Business Division 2). They showed off both gameplay and cinematic footage, with a big focus on environment traversal. The main character is named Frey Holand, played by British actress Ella Balinska.

Life is Strange: True Colors
▸ The next in the series is developed by Deck 9 games, who previously worked on LIS: Before the Storm. It will be coming out on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Unlike previous games, all chapters will be released at once. They also announced the Life is Strange Remastered Collection, including the first series and Before the Storm, featuring new mocap animation and improved graphics. People who purchase LIS: True Colors Ultimate Edition with get the Remaster Collection included.

Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy
▸ 2021 is the 25th Anniversary of the Tomb Raider series - so to celebrate, Square Enix has released a digital bundle of the recent Tomb Raider trilogy was announced and released, including all DLC. A Tomb Raider cook book was also announced, alongside crossovers with other titles. They have more anniversary stuff to announce in the near future.
