DESCRIPTION ▼
Continuing it's drip-feed approach, Sony has revealed the controllers for the PlayStation 5 VR headset. Controllers are 'orb-shaped", designed with a big focus on ergonomics and freedom of movement. They include many of the DualSense's iconic features, such as adaptive triggers and haptic feedback, and feature 'finger touch detection', that detects gestures in areas other than the buttons. The headset tracks hand movement via a tracking ring on the bottom of the controllers. Face buttons are split across the controllers, and each features an analogue stick, a grip button (R1, L1), a trigger button (R2, L2). The headset itself has yet to be revealed, and release date or price details are still unknown.
