Description: Find all Secret Areas
Fossil Echo is a 2D platformer with a mix of action, stealth, and puzzle elements... as well as (IMO) some beautiful visuals. It's a relatively short game, but fairly challenging... especially if you're trying for a 0-deaths run. ^^;
The "Explorer" achievement took me a while to accomplish, partly because I wasn't sure how many secret areas there were, and partly because I wasn't always looking in the right place, or in the right way... or both. ^^;
Anyway, earlier this month, I spent some time going through the game, trying all sorts of different things, looking for all of the secret areas. I even searched the Temple puzzles... though as it turns out, none of the secret areas were in any of the Temples (and yes, if anybody was curious, the death tally did climb pretty high during that run (over 200, I think)). ^^;; But because I was trying things I hadn't tried before, I finally found all of the Secret Areas! =)
As it turns out, there's only five of them... though of course, some of them are harder to find than others. And since it's fairly likely that other people are also having trouble finding all of the secret areas... I decided to put this video together, so you don't have to search through every section of every room, like I did... well, unless you really want to. =)

If you find all 5 secret areas in the same playthrough (i.e. you can quit and continue, but if you start a New Game, you'll have to find all of them again, even the ones you've found previously), you'll earn the "Explorer" achievement. The achievement should unlock right after you find the 5th secret area (in Dream 4).
* The video for Secret Area #1 shows two ways to get there. Personally, I think using the higher platform is easier, but if you accidentally (or on purpose) fall to ground level, you can still get to Secret Area #1.
