So, I actually tried out No Return Mode a bit, back when it was new... but didn't do very well (it definitely takes some getting used to!). ^^ Having just completed Hard Mode, though, I thought this might be a good time to give No Return another try. I mean, at the very least, the lower enemy density, compared to Hard Mode should make No Return seem a bit easier, right? =)
So I dove back into No Return Mode, and while my first several runs were full of all sorts of mistakes... at least I was learning a lot! ^^; And then this happened:
Purple Slime #2!
Interestingly, the Purple Slime seemed to bring me some sort of luck, since this ended up being my best No Return run ever. =) I was still making mistakes here and there and there, but overall, the run was going really well. Well... until 5-2. ^^;
Anyway, here it is... my second ever Purple Slime, and my first time ever reaching Zone 5 in No Return Mode! Hope you enjoy!
The Purple Slime was encountered (Zone 1, Level 3) at around: 5:21
The mini-bosses and bosses I encountered during this run were:
Zone 1: Minotaur, Gray Direbat, Gray Minotaur, & Coral Riff 1.
Zone 2: Direbat, Green Dragon, Minotaur, & Death Metal 2.
Zone 3: Minotaur, Banshee, Nightmare, & King Conga 3.
Zone 4: The Mommy, Green Banshee, Ogre, & Deep Blues 4.
Zone 5: Earth Dragon.
