Game Critic Plays Rayman Origins for First Time

This game has a rather interesting story behind the scenes. Several months ago (over a year ago?). After I bought the game, I brought this one home and added it to my collection. When the time came, I pulled it out of my library, plugged the game in, and recorded the first impression video for it. The game was unable to load the first level. It just got stuck on the loading screen. I was very confused by this and wondered what was wrong with the game.
After reloading the game several times and opening a new save file, I realized that the problem had to be originating elsewhere. So, I examined the disc and, it turned out, there was a massive gash on the disk that was severe enough to see through it. I figured this was the source of the problem.
I did quickly pivot and grabbed a different game to fill in the void in the mean time, so you never really noticed the difference. Behind the scenes, I would later take the game back the store. Luckily, the people working at the video game store are great and let me get a refund. They agreed that it was probably thanks to that large gash that the disc is unplayable. I forgot which other games I bought at the time, but I did buy something else in the mean time.
A month or two later, I saw sitting on the shelf this game once again. I was surprised by this, so I examined the disc to see if it was the same disc that had the gash in it. It wasn't. It was seemingly luck that someone else sold a copy to the store somewhere along the line and I happened to pop by to see it on the shelf. I snapped the game up and now it plays perfectly as you can see. So, impressive that I was able to score the same game twice like that.
Anyway...
