Game Review - Project Zomboid v40.43 π§ββοΈ
22Project Zomboid is an isometric survival sim set during a zombie apocalypse. It's still in Early Access, and has been for the past ~8 years (since 2013.) This review is for the current public access build, version 40.43. Version 41 is still in testing. Please note that because, hopefully, the game will get better. I do think that NPCs and other improvements will increase my rating in the future.
Also, many people strongly worry about whether the Devs will deliver on their promise of NPCs, because they were taken out years ago due to bugs. This is why the Devs reeeeally dislike any talk about the NPCs: people get angry and skeptical. But personally, I do believe that the NPCs will come back, because the Devs have been faithfully working on their game for years, and they are seeming to follow their build plan. That shows promise. My guess is that, at the rate things have gone, NPCs are probably gonna be released around the 10 year anniversary (2023).
