Re-Volt is the very first racing game I've ever played, or at least the first one I can remember playing. I've spent many hours as a kid with it, and with an unofficial patch (available at http://bit.ly/18rkPp5) it's now better than ever. In fact, to play at all on Windows 7 and up, the patch is mandatory. Unfortunately, all the added goodness of the patch is somewhat counteracted by Intel's sickly graphics drivers. Spasmatic skyboxes, texture and polygon anomalies, and occasionally low framerates are all very common while playing on an N2600. If you can forgive those issues, or aren't using the same platform as me, you'll be rewarded with a continually evolving RC racing experience.
