Well this game is uh. Pretty dang great. We're lucky it exists honestly--a bunch of classic names in the shmup world made a new game for an abandoned 8 bit retro handheld console. Insanity. This game is just fantastic: tons of creative level variety, an immaculate weapon system that's a blast to explore, and just an insane amount of quality that we've come to expect from the legendary M2.

I did play this on a dumped ROM. Like, why the heck didn't M2 make this readily available in the west!? You gotta get a Japanese card and crap to buy this for Switch or PS4. Or pay a high amount for a physical copy. So yeah I played on Retroarch and just overclocked the settings to avoid the slowdown you'd get from playing on an actual Game Gear.

I performed decently well in this run. Honestly, I have a lot to say about this game and my strategies so I wanna do a commentary on this run soon. Stay tuned.
