3It's good. It's fast. It's a typical PC Engine shooter with nice parallax scrolling. There's a ton of cutscenes in this game for a shmup, but they're all in Japanese so I just skipped them. The most notable thing about this game is probably it's hilarious game over screens. They remind me a bit of Zero Wing's "Engrish" along with some cursing that was pretty rare in 90s games and include the following gems:
"I cannot f**** up for this."
"What is this. It moves like hell."
"Jesus. Consentrate." (sic)
"It is not a over yet."
"No s***. I got the wrong way."
It makes the game fun to learn because when you die you get these little quotes lol. Overall it's a good shooter. It reminds me a lot of Dead Moon and plays similar, so if you like one you'll probably like the other. Game gives you a very generous shield and lots of item drops so this one is pretty chill and good for a beginner/intermediate level. You need to memorize parts and get some boss strategies here and there because you can die very fast since you take hits instantaneously without a second or two to recover kind of like Lords of Thunder, but once you learn a strategy it's very easy to execute consistently. 8/10.
