Ghost 1.0 Gameplay 2 Part 1 (Hard Difficulty) - Showcasing the Survival Mode
The game has two different modes to play the main story. The first one is the Classic Mode, which was the one I played throughout my previous videos. Now, I'm showcasing the second mode, which is the Survival Mode. Here, the most notable change is that the Alarm Level applies to the whole Nakamura Space Station, instead of affecting just locally as on Classic Mode. Also, Deaths are more punishing, since apart from losing your Energy Cubes, you also lose your Secondary Weapons and Powerups. The good news is that you preserve your Items and they recharge if you used them when you die, so deaths aren't a total loss, but they'll still hurt a lot. Some of the Powerups and Secondary Weapons are stored in the Reward Crates after surviving an Alarm, so acquiring a powerful arsenal is certainly quicker on this mode. Also, some portions of the Tutorial were changed a little bit to adapt the story to the gameplay, although these changes are minimum. Other than that, it is the same as the Classic Mode.
I started a new game to showcase this mode, and I managed to complete the Green Access Card, but the video was closing to the 2-hour mark, so I left it there. It feels nice to play, but deaths are harsh at this stage. I aim to beat the game on this mode too, but it will take me some time, because I have to leave home and return to the University. Therefore, I guess I'll have to upload other games in the meantime.
