5While Jin Sakai was a fantastic protagonist, I think it could benefit the franchise to leave him behind.
Ghost of Tsushima is a game about legacy and the impact people can have on others, so why not have a new person take up the role of the ghost inspired by Sakai’s deeds?
This would help with having to decide whether lord Shimura is alive or dead for the sequel and would give us an excuse to explore another part of Japan through the lens of someone different.
However, that might be too similar to the Assassins Creed.
