Giants, Zombies And 6 More Weird Things You Must See In Yakuza 0 On PC
Sega’s Japanese gangster sim series finally arrives on PC, with Yakuza 0 delivering some righteous beatings from August 1st. The best stuff happens around the edges of the story, as you meet giant muggers, fight off zombies during a music video and master karaoke and classic Sega arcade games. Noa shares her personal highlights.
The best bit about Yakuza 0 being the first Yakuza on PC is that it’s a prequel to the series, so you don’t need to have played the others to enjoy it. It’s set in 1988, which means that not only do you get to smash people over the head with traffic cones, you can do it while wearing some funky 80s fashion.
The game can be played as a straight brawler, but you get so much more out of it if you ignore the story and live life to the full in Kamurocho - enjoying the food, warbling pop hits in a bar or taking a partime job as a TV producer for a horrible diva of a director. Honestly, no ten minute sessions are ever quite alike, though all are equally daft.
All our footage is capture from a PC preview build and the full review will appear on Rock Paper Shotgun soon - I’ll pop a link in the comments. If you have any questions about Yakuza 0 on PC, let us know in the comments and we’ll try to answer them.
