With its buggy custom Side 3.
Go to Yoshi's Woolly World stage and grab an opponent like Kirby.
Walk-off to the left of the stage. Don't run or else Kirby loses a stock as well.
The setup is to have Mewtwo at 1 stock and Kirby with at least 2 stocks.
Mewtwo SDs while Kirby stays in place to the far left. Then as Lucario or any other charge projectile shooter like Samus or another Mewtwo, use a projectile to hit Kirby, it KOs Kirby but Mewtwo revives!
Despite being able to play, Mewtwo is still considered to be out of the game so Mewtwo can share stock with its teammates.
In free for all games, an active 0 stock Mewtwo will not be first.
