(Glitch) Wii U: How to use Mewtwo glitched Custom moves Super Smash Bros. V1.06 only
V1.06 only
There's two different methods.. well used to be two but the online method requires v1.07 - onwards which fixes this bug. So the only method you can do now is transferring fighters from 3DS and vice versa.
Jump to 3:35 for the offline method for V1.06
Make sure your customised fighter ISN'T using
Neutral 2, 3
Down 2
Neutral 2 and I think 3 charges up an invisible shadow ball that is impossible to stop charging heck even KO Mewtwo, using a rolling crate to push him down towards a pit or the very sides does NOT KO it.
Down 2 crashes the game
The Mii I used is:
Neutral 1
Side 3
Up 1
Down 3.
Instructions:
Method 1: Online (no longer works as it requires downloading a later to not only connect online but to fix this glitch)
This method is pretty identical to the 3DS version but there is a major difference.
The character select screen in any main mode:
(Training, Classic Smash) does not have a button that takes a custom fighter to the view/edit menu.
There is one solution for players without a 3DS copy, you got to download a Mii fighter from Nintendo Network online and then when you go to Training/Classic/Smash
you select a character and hit "Random" in the customised fighter list.
The start of the video shows me making a new fighter and then uploading it to Nintendo Network, then I download that fighter to activate the bug.
The downside is that you have to do the long process of downloading a new Mii fighter every time* you want to try out Mewtwo with buggy custom moves.. This also means that any future patches like 1.07 - onwards fixes this awesome bug, you won't be able to connect online anymore, preventing you to try out bugged Mewtwo on Wii U.
*
IF YOU HAVE CHOSEN a different fighter after the Mewtwo Bug
3DS is a bit easier as you can go to the view menu of your downloaded Mii fighters and still activate the bug that way.
-------------
Method 2: Offline but requires 3DS copy. (Video starts at 3:35)
This method is way faster than method one and doesn't require an online connection which will be fantastic if a future patch comes out that fixes the Nintendo Network bug method, as the most recent patch is required to connect online.
Sadly this does require a 3DS copy of the game which may be a good thing if you want your hard earned custom gear to be attached to your character.
