Here's one more for the list of games I started but didn't finish in the past. Little did kid-me know, that I made it to just before the final dungeon before getting stuck. Whoops!

Anyway, the game's presentation and good feel of fights are superb, along with the music. The rendering style of the graphics works well, even if it's a bit heavily compressed feeling. Cutscenes feel very drawn out though, with lots of irrelevant lines and characters having to put in their two cents whether they're asked or not. The general plot feels very loose and aimless, as all of your inspiration and drive is presented through physical threats you're forced to follow through on, and things that could have been more interesting plotlines, if not for the fact they're more or less presented as distractions from your objective.

The sense of direction is mostly good, but with a couple spots that are a bit ill-defined. Not really giving a very clear idea of what's expected to continue on here and there. And the game is... Not really very challenging either, as going for advanced class strategies or heavy summoning strategies both effectively eliminate most challenge from the game.
