3The good news is that we got to Duna. The bad news is that all our calculations for aerobraking are wrong and if it were not for the trusty F9 key our astronauts would be stranded on Duna at best and taking a permanent sand nap at worst. Fortunately, quickload saves our brave astronauts from such a fate, and our mission continues.
It turns out that having the large 10-meter heat shield throws aerobraking calculations off in all sorts of terrible ways....
