Grimlock Was Going to be in Transformers 07 but not as a Dinobot. If you’ve been following the Transformers movies then you’re probably aware that the characters, we see in the movies were intended to be a lot different. During the early production of 1st film, we saw characters go through drastic changes which stemmed from fan backlash from leaked images. Such as Optimus Prime who’s initial head design was altered to look more in line with a Japanese samurai armor. And then there are those characters who were originally intended to make their debut earlier. But would be axed from the final product and be introduced in a later sequel. Such as Grimlock. A character who’s commonly known for his association with the Dinobots and his ability to transform into a T-Rex. However during the development of Transformers 07 he was going to be something entirely different. Apparently, the Autobot behemoth was originally going to be the helicopter after Hasbro rejected the idea of Soundwave having the alt mode. But it would ultimately go to Blackout.
