GTA CW Tips and Tricks: Get Boats or Helicopters out of ANY Garage (PSP ONLY)
0In this Video, I show how to take any Boat or Helicopter out of ANY Garage by using a trick involving Taxi Driver and a Rampage.
***This only works on PSP that I know of. Very doubtful that it works on Mobile since you can't hold Taxi Driver and I also was told that you can't hold Taxi Driver on Nintendo DS, either.
This is rather annoying to pull off and it's the closest thing to OM0 in Chinatown Wars! You have to park a Cabbie EXACTLY like you see in the Video. If you're too close or too far from the Rampage when Huang exits the Cabbie, or too far ahead of it or below it, you won't get this outcome! It's very, very specific on where exactly your Vehicle is parked and where exactly you exit the Vehicle and stand on the Rampage! Hold the button to start Taxi Driver and before it starts, exit the Cabbie. If done successfully, your screen will go black and all you have to do is rapidly press the Pause button to bring back the normal view. Now enter the Cabbie before the timer runs out and simply drive to any Garage that contains either a Boat or Helicopter that you want to take out of the Garage. Don't pick up a fare on the way! Just get inside the Vehicle inside the Garage that you want to take out and wait until Taxi Driver fails and you'll be teleported back to the Rampage Icon with your Boat or Helicopter!
You can use ANY Rampage Icon on the entire Map to pull this off, but using Colony Island as I shown in the Video is a good idea, especially if you want to bring a Boat out of your Garage due to a Dock being very nearby to push it into the water!
Notice how when I end the Rampage, a bunch of goons are shooting at me. This is the only annoying part and before successfully recording this Video, I actually got busted and pulled out of a Vehicle by a Cop since I was Wanted whilst pushing the Boat and all these goons kept shooting at me, blowing up Vehicles, total chaos. As you can see, I touched the Rampage Icon AGAIN which helps those goons to stop spawning and bothering you. You may have to do that a couple of times for them to leave you alone!
The thing about this is, you want to do it AFTER 100% Completion just for fun or something. You don't want to do this, then SAVE YOUR GAME after doing it. Why? Because every time you activate Taxi Driver? You get +1 to Missions FAILED! Every time you touch the Rampage Icon? You get +1 to Missions ATTEMPTED! It doesn't matter if Taxi Driver or any Rampage is passed beforehand! If you touch the Rampage Icons and continuously activate Taxi Driver, you're getting Mission Failures and Attempts recorded and adding up in your Stats!
It works exactly the same if you have a Helicopter that is stored in ANY OTHER GARAGE except South Slopes or Little Bay. If you have a Helicopter stored in one of those Garages, then you can casually enter them, fly them out of the Garage. You wouldn't need to waste your time using the Taxi Driver + Rampage Icon Method if you have any Helicopter stored in South Slopes or Little Bay. But if a Helicopter (like any Boat) is stored in another Garage, then you ABSOLUTELY must get it out using the Taxi Driver + Rampage Icon Method!
Since Nintendo DS and Mobile Players won't be able to do this, they really should make sure that when they obtain the Unique Polmav from "Payback," they push it immediately to either South Slopes Garage or Little Bay Garage if they plan on EVER taking it out of the Garage again and being able to fly it around! If not, it'll be a trophy and nothing more!
