GTA V Special Vehicle Guide: UP (665LDI37) Felon
0In this Video, I show how to obtain the UP (665LDI37) Felon from "Pack Man." After I obtain it, I reload the Save and show that it's still there.
This Method shown in the Video will work on ALL Versions and Platforms of GTA V! Over two years ago, I recorded this Special Vehicle on PS3 Version 1.00 with a FAILED ATTEMPT and could never figure out for the life of me why I could never activate Franklin's Special Ability the moment I entered the Oracle. Turns out, with one tiny detail, it's possible, and EASY for ALL Platforms and Versions! This new Video will replace my old Video when I update the Special Vehicle Guide Playlist, even though I recorded it on PC rather than PS3.
The tiny detail is holding the accelerate button BEFORE Franklin even opens the door to the Oracle! If done successfully, he will open the door, LEAVE IT OPEN, and turn the Oracle on. This will give you enough time to spam the Special Ability so the UP Felon stays in the game world. If you don't do this, then he closes the door, the UP Felon is FARTHER away from you, and 99% of the time, the Special Ability won't even get a chance to be activated. That means, you likely failed and have to redo it all.
Make sure you DO NOT SKIP the Cutscene at the end of the Mission. If you do, you have to redo it all since the UP Felon will have been deleted already.
Notice in the Video, I was too fast for my own good and I activated the Special Ability but because I was spamming it, I DEACTIVATED it right afterward, and then when I tried again, I couldn't do it anymore! You have to be quick!
For PS4, XboxOne, and PC Players, the UP Felon is still slightly easier than if you are playing on PS3 and Xbox360 only because even without the Special Ability, the UP Felon doesn't vanish as long as you keep the camera on it and go STRAIGHT TO IT as I did in the Video. But if you're on PS3 and Xbox360, you're going to want to activate the Special, but KEEP IT ACTIVATED the entire time until it literally runs out and you catch up to the UP Felon! And as I said, just hold the accelerate button down BEFORE Franklin enters the Oracle and that will allow you to do the Special Ability in time without issues as I shown in the Video!
Once you manage to catch up to the UP Felon, you won't be able to just jack it and drive off with it. You have to get the driver to exit and the only way I am able to do it is by getting a Wanted Level and then having the Cops shoot at the UP Felon which will scare the driver out and allow Franklin to enter it and drive off with it!
The Felon is actually UP and not SP (Set Plate) due to the minor difference in the combination of numbers and letters on the Plate. For instance, it starts three numbers, three letters, then two numbers while normal Plates in traffic start with two numbers, three letters, and three numbers at the end. This minor difference makes it UP by definition.
