Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer
2The Halo 5 multiplayer beta is set to start on December 29th and will finish in the middle of January, and absolutely everyone who has a copy of Halo: The Master Chief Collection is guaranteed a spot in the beta.
343 Industries have published a new video showing off special player abilities that will be present in Halo 5: Guardians, which is set to launch next year.
The studio explains that where traditional Halo multiplayer usually has three facts – weapons, grenades and melee – Halo will be adding a fourth, in those player abilities. Apparently all players will be able to sprint and jump the same, though, so that things are fairly equal. New player abilities include a thruster pack that lets you move in the air, a ‘ground pound’ ability, a ‘clamber’ ability that allows you to jump on ledges, a slide move and a ‘charge’ move.
This is a pretty big change from previous games’ multiplayer, and is sure to mix things up a whole lot. It’s exciting. Let’s check out the video.
