Halo Infinite is still far away from us, but since it's now April, we are getting close to E3 2021: today's video “Halo Infinite – E3 2021 predictions” will include my full speculation about: a new campaign demo, Joseph Staten's speech, the multiplayer reveal, and a post-event livestream about Forge!

E3 2021 will be a digital event due to the current world situation, and I believe Xbox will host the first show on June 12th as per tradition, and this leads me to my first prediction: I think that Halo Infinite will be the show opener with new Halo Infinite Campaign gameplay, and then, Phil Spencer will welcome us to the Xbox show just before leaving the word to Joseph Staten, which has now returned to lead Halo Infinite's Campaign. After a strong first impression they'll show us a multiplayer demo of Halo Infinite and then the show will move onto other games, but what interests us now is: what will be shown in the two gameplay demos? And what will Joseph Staten tell us about Halo Infinite? Let's move onto the next prediction to find out.

The new Halo Infinite Campaign demo will probably start with a short cinematic like last year's gameplay, and I believe that it's in this moment we'll learn what's the real name of Brohammer. The demo will most likely take place in one of the sub-bioms of Halo Infinite, the first part of this demo will be on-foot gameplay, and 343 will probably show us at least one or two new Banished weapons. In the second section, the swamp will open up to reveal a group of Marines fighting against the Banished, and right next to them there will be an empty UNSC vehicle. I like to imagine that this vehicle will be one of Halo Wars 2's Cyclops, which the Chief will pilot to rescue the marines and destroy the Wraiths and the Marauders that are assaulting the Marines. In the final section instead, the Chief and the marines enter inside the darkness of a Forerunner structure, and it's in this moment that the demo cuts to a small and climatic story trailer, which will show us some minor, but very interesting beats of story cutscenes, some dialogue, and incredible gameplay clips showcasing the sandbox nature of Halo Infinite's equipment, vehicles, weapons and free roaming. Let's move onto Joseph Staten.

After the gameplay demo Phil Spencer will introduce Joseph Staten to the audience, and he will most likely describe, very eloquently, what will be like to play the Halo Infinite Campaign for the first time. Then he will tell us to stay until the end of the live stream because there will be a Halo Infinite Forge livestream which will show us everything about the new Forge. And then he'll proceed to say something like this “But before that, check what our colleagues from the multiplayer team have been working on”. The screen fades to black, and the multiplayer trailer kicks in.

Halo Infinite's multiplayer trailer will be a bombastic action packed video like the one from Halo Reach's Beta, and in it they will show us the new Big Team Battle 2.0, a couple of 4v4 arena game types and some free for all gameplay, all mixed and shuffled together to show us more new weapons, vehicles and equipment opportunities. The trailer closes with a screen that says: "PLAY THE HALO INFINITE MULTIPLAYER BETA – JUNE 16/JULY 14" end screen and everyone in the community goes crazy about it!

The Xbox show ends, and starts the Halo Infinite forge showcase, this will be a very laid back stream in which they will show the following:
Halo Infinite's Forge has a basic and an advanced mode, the basic is controlled more like all the games prior to Halo 5, so that it's very easy to pick up but it's a little harder to use the most advanced tools, which instead are better implemented in the advanced mode, and players will be able to switch between these two modes in-game by pressing just one button.
Then they'll go ahead and show us the Forge in action, by placing some scenery and creating some small scripts, all while switching between the two editing modes. And it's in this moment that they'll say “Yeah, in Halo Infinite there isn't Firefight... but – you can put AI in your maps and create the mode in here.”
After that they'll confirm that maps and game types will be shareable through the in-game File Share, without detailing anything else about the “File Share” system. The stream will end with them saying that a “Custom Game Browser” will not launch with the game but it's planned to ship soon after.
