Hansel and Gretel are a young brother and sister kidnapped by a cannibalistic witch living in a forest The two children escape with their lives by the Grim Reaper stopping time and offering them his powers so they can save themselves from the witch. Hansel and Gretel are the children of a poor woodcutter. When a famine settles over the land, the woodcutter's wife decides to take the children into the woods and leave them there to fend for themselves so she and her husband will not starve to death. Once they’re out in the wilderness Hansel’s reassuring Gretel that God will not forsake them, because Hansel has taken a slice of bread and left a trail of bread crumbs for them to follow home. But then they were captured by a witch who knocked them out with some kind of magic spell and when they were waking up tied and bound and the witch stirring the cauldron, they didn’t know what to do, when time stopped and a black hooded figured reached out with his scythe and cut their ropes telling them if they grabbed it he’ll make them stronger, strong enough to never half to be afraid again. Hansel and Gretel kill the witch and the Grim Reaper becomes a father figure for them while they become the most feared hunters of supernatural creatures in the land.
