Description:
After falling out of Lower City, Haru ends up in the Deeplands, a snowy region with dangerous wildlife and kill-on-sight soldiers. Haru will need the help of Ayaka, a mysterious hermit woman, to return to the empire and reunite with Kuroko.

Sadly, there is no way to rebind keys and the game uses LAlt as an input for some reason, so I have to revise my recording hotkeys.
3:00 Pillar Exterior
Be sure to pick up the grenade before approaching the pillar. It can help you get an alternate outcome for the first wolf fight.
When you enter the blizzard maze, Haru will collapse from the cold.
9:53 Ghost Town
Be sure to examine every in the house, check the flowers on the hill, examine any locked doors, go to the graves, and examine everything in the church.
Once you examine enough events, you can return to the house, where you'll meet your savior Ayaka. She recommends going to Junk City to gather info on getting back into the pillar.

I decided to look around a bit before going to Junk City.
In the pillar area, I found another encounter zone near the save point. Note that these can contain wolf leaders, who should be prioritized so that they can't summon additional wolves.

I managed to find some encounter zones and a bit of treasure, but no matter how efficient my route is, I can't make it to the end yet without running out of heat.

There are hidden completion points for talking to the guy at the middle house before the elder. You'll also find Kid here building a snowman, but she lost her memory.
There are also hidden achievements for selling Kuroko's equipment. Seriously.
The guy in the middle house wants you to place fire orb fragments at the machines in the maze, but they always get stolen by goblins when you exit the maze map.

It doesn't really matter how many fragments you place, since the Junk City guy will give you more, so you should instead focus on finding all goblin encounters. The third one is followed by a fight with the goblin leader.

Unlike me, don't bother using grenades, since the boss has an attack that both deals single target damage and summons a minion if less than two are present.

Haru stealthily observes some soldiers marching through on a mission to find a girl. Also, they destroy Kid's snowman just to be jerks.
Report to the middle house guy about the goblins to get some money.
1:09:58 Recruiting Ayaka
The soldiers harass Ayaka, so Haru needs to defeat them. There's a stronger sword-wielding one who seems to resist lightning, so unlike me, maybe have an ice orb on Haru's sword.
Ayaka decides to accompany Haru for her own safety, but she needs time to get ready.
If you pass out in the maze, you get a game over and completion points, since Ayaka is too busy to save you this time.
Once Ayaka is ready, she'll give you a fully functioning fire orb, which means you don't need to place fragments anymore. She is also a powerful mage, so make sure to unequip all orbs to get Kuroko's good orbs, and then place them on Ayaka. You may also want to upgrade her armor, since she's not as physically durable as Haru and Kuroko.
