Walkthrough/Playthrough/Let's Play
Description:
Sam Anon is a "lesbian disaster" with low self-esteem, but maybe things will get better if she joins Grace Morningstar and Valentin Vaillante in their quest to defeat the Machine Devil and his bigoted cult. Unfortunately, they are also opposed by the Divine Order, which prioritizes arbitrary rules over actually stopping the cultists. Fortunately, one of the Divine Order angels, Angela, joins after being convinced of the righteousness of their cause.

0:00 Title Screen
I look through the options menu, but somehow missed the wait/active setting. That was dumb of me because wait mode is really helpful for selecting specific targets.
2:25 Getting in the Car
A cultist harasses and bullies Sam for her clothes, but Valentin shows up and punches the cultist out. Also, the cultist insists he's only "debating."
Sam has a crush on Grace, but Grace already has Valentin as a boyfriend. Will this end in a threesome?
5:12 Tutorial
The characters will talk while driving, but encounters can happen in the middle of the conversation.
All battles are real time, but if you have wait active, the game automatically pauses when selecting targets or healing. If you're like me and you suck at fully active ATB, use wait mode.
You have to press the R button to flip to the next set of actions, but the party won't be able to do so on their third set. Make sure the third set is something that is convenient to repeat.
All characters get three equipment slots, which determines the available actions in each set.
Eventually, the team will fight an enemy strong enough to warrant using Grace's Sword of Fate. This weapon's action can only be used once the team is on their third set, but it also has a massive cooldown, so you'll most likely have to go through your third set multiple times before you can use it in a longer fight.
Eventually, you'll run into a Rank IV enemy, which Sam advises the team to run from. Each rank makes a huge different by 2-fold, so listen to Sam.
23:32 Gas Stop
At the gas stop, you can't buy anything else until you pay for gas. You can buy a gacha set to get new gear, and then use unwanted gear and items to upgrade your desired gear. A Rank 1+ trinket is equal to a Rank 2 in terms of determining your character's rank, but + gear cannot be upgraded again. You'll have to find a real Rank 2 to upgrade into 2+, and a 3 to upgrade to 3+, and so on.
You can get a free stamp, but you won't be able to get the Devil Clock until you beat the first boss.
34:23 Road
The goal is to get to Lesser Anastasia while increasing our rank on the way.
You might run into shrines, where you can heal for free.
43:02 Gas Stop 2
There's an angel NPC who tries to chase Sam, but somehow, the map depth mechanic prevents the angel from seeing Sam hiding next to the boat. No wonder the team has no confidence in the Divine Order.
45:52 Road 2
51:20 Gas Stop 3
One NPC mentions how a cultist had her take a quiz app, but the nature of the questions makes it clear that it's really something the cult made to harass the people they "other."
56:28 Road 3
1:04:44 Gas Stop 4
For some reason, the angel boat is here again.
