Hearthstone Beta-Concepts, basics and terms
0Hello all and thanks for checking out another Hearthstone video here on G4G. In this second video for the Hearthstone Beta, I give you guys a kind of beginner's course for the game. Now, the game itself does give you a bit of a crash course in many of the basic concepts but it doesn't really tackle higher level things like the secrets and such.
The key to being successful in this game is having a solid deck that has great synergy between the cards. You can slap together cards and hope to get lucky but it really helps to prep properly and have a "theme" for your deck. Though the timer is forgiving, you should also know what you might do on each turn and what abilities your cards have. It also helps greatly to play the right cards at the right time. Dropping a very important 1/1 card on the first turn is usually asking for trouble and it likely won't survive. Laying down the troll healer when you're at full health might be a bit of a waste if you're not planning on targeting a minion.
