Ok let's take it from the start-

Xirath is a creature coming from the Nether, also called a Netherborne. He uses He/They pronouns, but doesn't have an actual gender. In fact, they don't have a biological gender. Xirath is known to have memory issues. While he seems to be unfamiliar to a lot of things, he still has eidetic memory. They remember things from millions of years ago in very specific detail. May it be languages, history, or knowledge. He's also really interested in the topic of magic and experimenting with it.

They often go adventuring into the wild, exploring various biomes and realms. He claims that it's for his research. Sometimes, they're out for a few hours. Other times, they leave for weeks. It all depends on the distance, of course. He finds it entertaining and relaxing to surround himself in snow or forests, and it helps him focus on his research.

Xirath is the founder of a giant, underground base, which can be considered a library. (it's not as big in game as in theory). It has a total of six rooms. One above, and five below that are placed like a +.
In that base, there is a hidden room. Not filled with treasure, or secrets. It's a completely empty room that is built purely of obsidian. Sometimes, Xirath will lock themselves in there to prevent a situation from getting worse.

Xirath enjoys helping people. He loves being, well, human. Being a person who no one expects too much from, but still someone who has a say and opinion. They like being equal with others, instead of being seen as more. They feel that as soon as people start expecting too much, it gets stressful and it makes them uncomfortable. Therefore, just being able to do what he enjoys, and helping out once in a while is more than enough to make him feel better.

Xirath has very low self-esteem. Whenever something bad happens, they always blame themselves, even if it was outside their control. He doesn't feel overly confident in his abilities, but he can usually block out the thoughts by engaging in one of his hobbies. (Writing, illustrating, reading, something cozy and comfortable).

They're a good liar. It's surprising, but they are amazing a lying. Xirath knows exactly when and where to say something, and knows how to get around pressuring situations without being suspected.

Now for something.. different.

Xirath experiences extreme episodes of mania once in a while, as well as dissociation. When this happens, he feels out of control, and locks himself in that hidden, obsidian room. The obsidian is resistant to most of the damage they can do, making it a "cell" that can keep their library safe.

He struggles with understanding emotion. Xirath knows and acts subconsciously, but he doesn't understand human emotion. This only makes them feel even worse about their manic episodes. He tries his best to read and study how emotions work in order to try and communicate properly, but they still feel conflicted with it. Xirath doesn't want to express the wrong emotions in the wrong scenarios. (this is also known as Alexithymia.)

Xirath's skin isn't immune or resistant against fire, heat or lava. While most of his body is perfectly fine with it, his non-scaled skin will take damage, and often burns away when they experiment with fire. This hurts, a lot. Twice he's been forced to use bio magic to recreate a sort of artificial layer of skin while waiting for it to heal.

Their mind functions like a puzzle. It can be solved without finding every piece, but once that final piece has been found, it's like opening a gate to let the water flow through and continue on.
When Xirath learned the truth about his real identity as Azar, his brain was overwhelmed by the sudden memories. Ones that they've always had, but needed to figure out before realizing and understanding the severity of his situation.

Xirath can be scary, even more scary when influenced by a mental episode or person. Most of the time, he appears to be a sweet, empathetic person. A very tall, horned figure who'll bring you flowers, or tell you about the history of the Nether Realms great collapse. The other side of them is less, nice.
When on his bad side, Xirath can be cold, even merciless towards people. Brutal and aloof. It's not often, but it sure does scare the living ---- out of people when it does happen.

They feel isolated from the world. Because Xirath doesn't really understand, he does everything he can to pretend, play along, and fit in. They went so far as to harm themselves when removing their demonic wings and tail, for people to be less scared of them. He makes sure to act the same way, say exactly what others want, and is almost like a dog. He does everything for acceptance and to help others. Therefore, when they can be themselves, they start ranting about their research, and finds time to even just sit in silence and watch the sky darken. Sometimes he even starts counting the stars, knowing he'll never count them all, but to distract himself.
