Since their inception, video games have developed into multiple genres and have accomplished many millstones due to technological advancements; however, there's no denying games take longer to produce and cost more.
A studio could partner up with a conglomerate, but their ideas may not become a reality; alternatively, they could take the independent route for creative freedom at the cost of working within a finite budget. But what if a studio could get the best of both worlds?

British developer, Ninja Theory, has a track record making games such as Heavenly Sword, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West and DMC: Devil May Cry.
Considered an 'Independent Triple-A' intellectual property, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is the first game focusing on Psychosis, a mental disorder causing anxiety and hallucinations.
Ninja Theory did a great job researching and conveying the condition, though I deprecate with the consensus Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is a masterpiece.
