I was at Malevelon Creek when the Automatons tried to turn the jungle into a scrapyard. I watched good men and women vanish into fog filled with red lights and static screams. Back then, I still believed we could win—believed Super Earth had a plan. That there was a reason behind the madness.

Now? The DSS is gone, Mars is glass, and the Illuminate have made landfall on Super Earth itself. The Great Host Armada punched through everything we threw at them—Widow’s Harbor, Pilen V, New Haven. We threw bodies at their ships. Traded millions of lives just to scratch their hulls. We held as long as we could. And when they got past us?

They erased Mars.
Mars. The training ground. The cradle. Gone.

Now it’s down to this. Mega City is burning. SEAF troopers are dying in the streets. Parade guards with sabers are charging psionic war machines. I’m tired. I’m done listening to propaganda broadcasts and Joel’s smug little messages. But I’ll be damned if I let another SEAF squad die because no one showed up to cover their flank.

I don't care about glory.
I don’t care about democracy.
I care about the rookies behind me still figuring out how to reload under fire.
