Hexen | Sega Saturn Gameplay Demo | Real hardware
1This is just a gameplay demo because I recently completed the N64 version and it is pretty much the same game. The only differences are 1. The frame rate is much more choppy on Saturn and is a bit bad on the eyes. 2. The controls are not as good because the N64 analogue stick is so much better for this game. 3. No save function on the Saturn. This is crazy as the Saturn has an internal save function but they opted for passwords on this. Really long passwords. This wouldn’t be so bad but on the N64, I needed to save often. I.e., before difficult death jumps or bosses. When you die on this, you have to start the level again from the beginning. This can make the game much longer, harder and a chore.
