Right-click on an unwanted update in OS X Yosemite and choose "Hide Update", repeat 600000 times to no effect

Worked previously http://osxdaily.com/2012/09/27/hide-software-updates-mac-app-store-os-x/ indicating this is a bug which will likely be fixed
