9This mapset is not really one I'd recommend playing with HD. It's a good mapset, indeed, but perhaps not one for HD.
You might notice me bringing along a BFG at the start, it's for a good reason. This is a pistol start run mainly, you won't see me using the BFG at all in this part.
Anyway, about the mappack itself. A recreation of the Maria Doria segment of TR2, and a pretty accurate one for some of the parts. I say some, mostly because this mapset decided to not use TR2's textures and the fact that the maps themselves are remixed. The pump area that was supposed to be in the Living Quarters level is moved to the first map, to give an example. All of these contribute in making a mapset that will give TR2 veterans some orientation confusion.
There's also a lot of jumping parts in this set, of course. HD's mechanics for jumping might not allow for super hops like in Vanilla, but it kinda made for some rather similar TR-like moveset with ledge climbing and all. Makes me kinda wish for a classic PoP/TR-like movement mod.
