I managed to get a PS5 (yay!). I disabled Rest Mode since that causes issues with some PS5s, possibly related to the HDMI device connected, I'm not sure.

Anyway, I wanted to see if the video I record and upload is at 1080p@60Hz. So I figured I'd fight a Thunderjaw. (And it does record at 1080p@60Hz - nice!)

In case you're wondering, I'm level 60, and this is in New Game+ with the Adept versions of bows and armor, and a solid selection of purple and unique upgrades from Frozen Wilds, with some double uniques since I collected them in both the first and second playthroughs. So I'm well equipped.

The controller speaker is a lot quieter on the DualSense controller, so I can barely hear the Focus sound when I use it, even after turning its volume from 95% up to 100%. There is also a tiny annoying tick sound when I move the analog sticks off from center (from the sticks themselves, not the speaker). But these are minor things.

I'll pre-order Forbidden West and maybe pick up Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart - because the graphics in that game are completely gorgeous.

This video took 5 minutes to upload at 10Mbps. I used the mp4 format. A 375MB file for a 2:42 play sample? I'll have to look for the file size on the PS5 to confirm. Update: Yep, that's pretty consistent with the size of the Capture folder when I went into Back Up. So that would be a 4.2GB upload for a 30 minute video, and would take around an hour to upload at 10 Mbps. Eek.
