In today's episode (Ep 1) of HOW FAR CAN YOU GET, Ted takes on Ninja Gaiden for the NES Classic. We're here to answer the question "How far can you get?" Come downstairs and have a seat with us on the couch right here in The Basement - the friendliest place on YouTube!
In the "How Far Can You Get" series, we'll be taking on games we are either totally unfamiliar with (blind) or have not played in a long time (stale) or, in a couple of cases, games we know well (Such as Super Mario Bros. 3). The goal will be to see HOW FAR YOU CAN GET in just 10 minutes.
How far can you get in Ninja Gaiden, Ted? You've got 10 minutes - make the most of it! Ninja Gaiden is a very difficult game, but the first 10 minutes aren't too tough. We both have fond memories of playing Ninja Gaiden in our childhoods. While the first couple of levels in Ninja Gaiden aren't too crazy, it's still true that Ninja Gaiden is brutally hard in the later levels. Peter has never beaten Ninja Gaiden. Ninja Gaiden is a classic game. Ninja Gaiden looks great on the NES Classic. We in The Basement are really enjoying the CRT filter of the NES Classic. The CRT filter is a great feature. We love the way that Ninja Gaiden looks through the CRT filter on the NES Classic.
We're really happy that we were able to acquire an NES Classic. Here in The Basement, we will make good use of our NES Classic, likely using the CRT filter most of the time.
