2Some more investigation is needed here, but It look like secret navpoints are tracked in the game rather than in the charater data. So if you play through the whole game then start a new character - without stopping the game or having it crash on you - then any secret navpoints you unlocked stay unlocked.
...which is why I was able to jump to Delta Prime and grab a shiny new Steltek gun during the third Taryn Cross mission.
Sadly, this doesn't seem to work; the game got stuck in an unwinnable state where you have the weak Steltek gun, the drone is chasing you, but Sandra Goodin won't appear in the bar at Macabee.
A question for the rest of the speedrunning community - both of you - If this can be made to work, should it even be allowed? It feels like we're not really starting from a clean start state.
